Transitioning to Sustainable, Premium Packaging
As a designer collaborating with Interflora—a global network of over 58,000 affiliated flower shops across 140 countries—I contributed to advancing their sustainability mission by encouraging eco-friendly practices among customers, suppliers, and partners. One key project involved redesigning packaging for Finsmakarna Norden, a supplier of gift boxes containing tea, Belgian chocolate, oil, and other specialty items. The original packaging used inexpensive gold-colored plastic, which fell short of the premium quality Interflora and its customers expected. I redesigned the packaging with a luxurious label and sustainable materials, elevating the product’s appearance while reinforcing Interflora’s commitment to sustainability.
Goal
To replace low-quality plastic packaging with a sustainable, elegant solution that reflects the premium nature of Finsmakarna Norden’s products and supports Interflora’s dedication to environmentally responsible practices.
